In 2017, there are currently seven Napa Valley restaurants that have earned  Michelin Stars.  The most famous is French Laundry.

Chef Ken Frank is considered a pioneer of ‘California Cuisine’ and he is famed for his foie gras and rare black truffles.  This restaurant is in the Westin Verasa and walking distance from downtown Napa and the Oxbow

Yountville

French Laundry Yountville Thomas Keller Napa Valley Michelin StarYountville at times is considered the town with the highest number of Michelin stars per capita.  There are numerous restaurants that intermittently win stars.  The most famous is Thomas Keller’s French Laundry, which many consider the top US restaurant.  He also runs Bouchon Bistro and currently has a total of four Michelin Stars.
